About the Speaker:
Mr. Deming Zhao graduated from University College London (LLM in commercial and corporate law) and Xiamen University Law School (LLB, LLM & PhD). Mr. Zhao is a Partner at HaoLiWen PRC Attorneys. Before joining HaoLiWen, Dr. Zhao had been an associate professor and graduate student supervisor at the Law School of Xiamen University, an in-house counsel of the Greater China Region of KODAK, a partner of a PRC law firm in Shanghai and a senior associate of the Hong Kong and Shanghai offices of PAUL HASTINGS. As a senior partner of HaoLiWen now, Mr. Zhao is also an arbitrator of China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission, an arbitrator of Xiamen Arbitration Commission and a conciliator of China International Chamber of Commerce. Dr. Zhao was appraised by Asialaw Leading Lawyers (2010) as one of the leading lawyers in the general corporate practice.
