Xi’an Jiaotong University School of Law and the Silk Road Institute for International and Comparative Law (SRIICL) are pleased to announce that “China and ICSID” International Workshop and Roundtable on International Investment Law and Arbitration is now open to application.

The event, which will be held during 25-30 June 2012 in Xi’an, China, is second of the Silk Road International Workshop and Roundtable Series on International Economic Law held annually between 2011 and 2013. The three workshops are dedicated to WTO law, international investment law and international commercial law respectively.

The event is open to:
1. Graduate and undergraduate students in international investment law or related subjects;
2. Practitioners in international investment law or related subjects.

Registration fee:
The standard registration fee is US$ 500.

Scholarship:
The scholarship includes full exemption of the registration fee. Scholarships are granted on a merit basis. Other factors such as financial status and country of origin would also be taken into account. Applicants who wish to be considered for the scholarship should send a short letter giving reasons for application, along with other application documents.

Certificate of Attendance:
Xi’an Jiaotong University School of Law and the SRIICL award all participants to the programme who have regularly attended courses a Certificate of Attendance.
