In the morning of April 8, which marked the 112 anniversaries of the establishment of XJTU and 52 anniversaries of its moving to Xi’an, the new site of the LawSchoolwas formally announced in the Qu Jiang New Campus of the university.
Professor Qiu Jin, The deputy secretary of XJTU’s Party Committee and the vice-president of XJTU, made a speech. He expressed that Law School should accelerate construction and development under the "High-level, Internationalized, and Research-led" policy, should make efforts for great legal scholarship of XJTU, for the promotion of the status of China's legal schorlarship on international stage, and should contribute to enhance the repurtation of the XJTU as a world-famous high-level university.
Professor Wenhua Shan, Dean of the Law School, delivered an ardent speech. He expressed that the establishment of the Law School of XJTU marked not merely a new starting point of legal research and teaching at XJTU, but also a beginning of a new page in the construction project of the law discipline.
