This year marks the 10 anniversary of the School of Law on legal education. To celebrate this occasion, the School of Law will host the international symposium. The objective of the symposium is to provide a platform where leading scholars from the best law schools in the world can share their views on the future of global legal education at a time when China endeavors to build the “Belt and Road” together with countries around the world. 

Details of international symposium are as follows:

Time:8:30 a.m. to 6:15 p.m.

Venue:Xi’an Jiaotong University

Language:English and Chinese

The symposium will consist of the following themes:

1) The “Belt and Road Initiative” and the Internationalisation of Legal Education

2) Technological Development and Legal Education: Ways Ahead

3) The Changing Legal Profession and Legal Education 

We would like to invite scholars in the related field to choose any one of the themes listed above and share your insightful views with the other leading educators.Your presence will be instrumental to the success of the symposium. Please let us know if you accept our invitation on or before 31 July 2018. If your reply is in the affirmative, please kindly send us your short bio and an abstract of your presentation before 31 August 2018.
